Breathe Hakone's guided forest bathing walks cost US$90–230 per person in 2026, depending on the walk and the number of guests. The price includes your guide, ground mats and tea; transport from Tokyo and specified local purchases are separate.
What are the current forest bathing prices?
| Walk | Solo | 2–3 guests | 4–6 guests |

| Immersive Shinrin-yoku at the Lakeshore | US$230 | US$120 each | US$100 each |
| Temple Forest Walk and Onsen | US$230 | US$120 each | US$100 each |
| Hakone Valley Walk & Forest Bathing | US$230 | US$120 each | US$100 each |

What is included, and what is paid separately?
Every walk includes the guide, ground mats and tea or coffee served by Aki. Tea, amazake and other drinks bought at teahouses or shops are paid separately. For the Temple walk, bring about ¥6,000 cash per person for the local train from Odawara, lunch and optional onsen. For the Valley walk, sweets and drinks at the finishing shop are paid by you.
How much should I allow for transport from Tokyo?
Transport cost depends on your starting station and ticket choice. From Shinjuku, the Romancecar requires the ordinary Odakyu fare plus a reserved-seat limited-express supplement. From Tokyo or Shinagawa, the Shinkansen to Odawara is faster but usually costs more. Local buses or trains may then be needed for the confirmed meeting point. Use current operator fares and our Tokyo-to-Hakone guide before buying.
What does a complete day cost?
For two adults booking Introductory Shinrin-yoku, allow US$100 each for the walk, plus return transport, meals and any sightseeing you add. For two adults booking the Temple walk, allow US$120 each for the experience, return transport between Tokyo and Odawara, and about ¥6,000 cash each for the local train, lunch and onsen. These examples keep currencies separate so changing exchange rates do not make the estimate misleading.
